Speaking of finding places on Petersberg Project...in regard to story "The rebel in the Road"....could these pictures have been taken nearby?

Three photos were taken of this unfortunate soldier struck with a piece of shrapnel between the eyes. Not near the Jerusalem Plank Road picket line photos. Current thinking puts these three photos nearer to Confederate Battery 25..

Among the Thomas Roche pictures of dead CS soldiers are two of a barefoot corpse lying in halfway up a trench with side torn out..in one picture taken directly at him..a line of entrenchments is seen in the background...same as Rebel in the road pictures..or not?
Also in apost Civil war History of the 4th Rhode Island Infantry are pictures of Fort Sedgwick..and the picture of the Federal picket line..and a picture of the picket line 30 years after the war...
In regard to the Crater pictures...of Interest in Vol 4 of Battles and Leaders of the Civil war p.555 sketch of "The Crater" by Major James C Coit
